The development of the so-called festive square, in the extension of the large cultural center of the South-West Water Point of the Eurometropolis and a school group in wooden construction, creates the gateway to the Rives du Bohrie eco-district (55ha 1500 housing units). Designed as a vast plant forum which unfolds from the central horseshoe, the uses are multiple: forecourt of public facilities, children's games, cloud of mist, walk, rest in the shade of the ring of hackberry trees, weekly market, shows and activities, etc. Above all, the lighting is intended to be very optimal. Three large slender wooden poles measuring 11 m illuminate an area of 7,900 m2. The choice of light wood topped with 4 light gray metal brackets allows the lighting equipment to blend into the landscape of the square during the day and reveal their presence at nightfall.
