Quais Bas Rive Gauche (Rouen)
Quais Bas Rive Gauche (Rouen)

Quays of the Seine, places of life and events... Reconversion of the low quays on the left bank of the Seine in Rouen and the Waddington peninsula. Sequenced into three parts, the low quays accommodate a landscaped park, behind-the-scenes gardens and a large event esplanade. The latter is designed as a multi-purpose venue allowing the hosting of multiple events (Armada, St Romain funfair, Rouen beaches, concerts, etc.) where everything is done to facilitate event production with a concern for environmental quality. The site is completed by the development of the Waddington peninsula on the right bank. There, the project extends the tide gauge promenade and offers a high-quality reception space for circuses and international productions. The lighting project deploys a soft and colorful night walk as well as tools for modular lighting of the sites.
