Place Charles III (Nancy)
Place Charles III (Nancy)

Each light device will meet a dual need, both functional and architectural. The lighting design on Place Charles III will aim to highlight the already existing architectural riches, to highlight the dynamics of movement and the new potential of the place and to create a dialogue with the new contemporary forms installed there due to the new uses of the place, reinforcing its importance at the center of urban life in the metropolis of Nancy. Each light device will meet a dual need, both functional and architectural. the four large poles of light will be “signature sculptures” which will free up space and make Place Charles III a landmark on the city’s skyline. Their design will echo the architecture of the Saint Sébastien church which borders the square, these masts fully illuminating the space.
